Kentish Flats Wind Farm consists of thirty wind turbines of 3MW each, covering an area of 10 square kilometres. Located just 5 miles out to sea on the southern side of the Thames Estuary, CCL provided termination for this project, as well as jointing and testing services for all shorelink and array subsea cables and sub-station patch boxes which after its completion in 2005 corresponded to the consumption of more than one-hundred British households.
